TCAS Proximate Traffic
Traffic, detected by TCAS equipment on board the own-ship, that is within 1200 feet vertically and 6 NM horizontally of the own-ship (RTCA/DO-185B ยง 1.8). If the ASA system own-ship CDTI display is also used as a TCAS display, then information about TCAS proximate traffic will be conveyed to the CDTI, possibly via the ASSAP function.
